Architectural

• What types of exterior modifications can I make to my home without requiring approval of the association?
 All exterior modifications or improvements must be approved through the community association’s architectural control process. Please complete the fillable architectural request form under Architectural Review in TownSq.

• Where do I find my community’s architectural modification request form?
 The fillable architectural modification request form can be found under the Architectural Review section of TownSq. Paper forms are not accepted by mail or email.

  1. Visit TownSq and log in using your account credentials. If you are not registered, you can sign up using your HOA account number and property zip code.
  2. Once logged in, select “Architectural Review” from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click “Submit Project” and complete the required fields.
  4. Click “Save” in the top right corner to submit for review.
  5. You may upload files or photos during submission.

This feature is not available on the phone app and must be completed on the website. Log back in to check the status of your request.

• What’s the process for submitting the application? How long does it take to get approval?
 Once submitted, the application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors. This committee of volunteer homeowners determines whether the request complies with architectural guidelines. Responses may take up to 30 days from the submission date. Provide complete information to avoid delays.

• What is the status of my application?
 If you have not heard from the Architectural Committee within 30 days, please submit a request via TownSq.

 

Board Meetings

• How do I find out when the next Board meeting takes place?
 Meeting dates and times are posted in the News and Events section of TownSq. Registered email addresses will also receive notices.

• Where can I find copies of the most recent meeting minutes?
 Meeting minutes are posted in the Documents section of TownSq.

 

Common Area Maintenance

• What does the Association maintain and what am I responsible for?
 Homeowners are responsible for maintaining their own property.

• I need to report a maintenance issue in a common area.
 Please submit a request via TownSq and include photos and as much detail as possible. You can track the status of your request through TownSq.

• What is the trash/waste pick-up schedule?
 Monday / Thursday

• What is the bulk pick-up schedule?
 Call Republic Services at 817-317-2000 to schedule.

• How do I get electric, gas, water, or trash service?
 You may choose your provider.

 Compliance

• I just received a violation notice. Who can I talk to?
 Email dfwcompliance@goodwintx.com. Contact information is also listed on your notice.

• I need to report an issue with a neighbor’s home.
 Submit a request via TownSq with photos and details if available.

• When does the compliance driver visit?
 Typically bi-weekly, with additional spot inspections as needed.

• Is there a list of rules I can give my tenant?
Governing documents are available at www.goodwintx.com using “Find My Community.”

• How do I pay my assessment?

Option 2: TownSq Website or App

TownSq accepts ACH and debit/credit cards. Credit card payments include a $1.50 fee plus 3.5% of the payment amount. E-check payments include a $1.50 fee.

Option 3: Bank Bill Pay
 Update your bank’s payee name and address to the PO Box above. Include your account number and association code DWHH in the memo.

Can I pay with a credit/debit card?
 Yes, through TownSq (fees apply as noted above).

What is my property code?

When is my assessment due?
 January 1st

Why does my account show a negative number?
 A negative number indicates a credit balance.
